The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year of 2008 offers B.tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) with a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The Department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. The Department has fully equipped laboratories to have an actual hands-on experience apart from the theoretical knowledge. It is continuously striving to import quality of education and competitive spirit among the students for their academic excellence. The department also has the credit of organizing seminars, guest lectures, workshops and technical symposiums on latest technologies for the benefit of student and faculty community.
Students are encouraged to undertake projects in the areas of Machine Design, Power System planning operations and control, Digital Signal Processing, Industrial Electronics, Microprocessor Applications and Power Electronics.
The placement of students in various core sectors and software organizations in and around the country reflect the aspirations of this department. Alumni are well placed in India and abroad and many of them are presently pursuing their higher education in highly reputed institutes.
